A self-regulating heating cable, having a number of advantages, cannot completely replace constant power cables. The newest device, the high-precision IRRL 1.0 regulator, combines the advantages of these two types of heating cables. It is specially designed to completely eliminate the high inrush current of the self-regulating heating cable at arctic temperatures up to -70°C. This significantly extends the service life of such a cable and increases the reliability and safety of the heating system.
The control algorithm implements complex mathematics of calculating the necessary electrical parameters of the supply voltage based on real-time monitoring of the state of the polymer conductive matrix. Thanks to this, the self-regulating heating cable is controlled in an optimal way, eliminating energy overruns.
It operates in a wide temperature range of -70 ÷ +35°С. May be located in hazardous areas. Reliably protected from the environment. Able to transmit data. Allows you to create an autonomous tree structure for managing a network of self-regulating heating cables. The presence of a logical input allows control from an external thermostat or temperature controller. At a minimum cost and size, in terms of functionality, it is on a par with the top-end expensive specialized controllers. Original constructive and methodological solutions are patented.
Reliability and Security.
The problem of high inrush currents is fixed. A circuit breaker designed for the rated current of the cable is used. Controls open circuit and short circuit in cable. Protection against own overheating.
Profitability and environmental friendliness.
Optimizes power consumption. Reduces electricity consumption 5 times - reduces CO2 emissions. Extends the life of the self-regulating heating cable through intelligent control. Minimum materials and energy costs for the manufacture of the device. Most materials are recycled.
Flexibility of integration.
Connects to IIoT, SCADA systems. It is combined into its own multi-level network. If necessary, it can operate under the control of an external thermostat or temperature controller. Device setup with a magnetic pencil directly at the facility in the explosive area.
Wide range of applications.
The rated power of the self-regulating heating cable is 100 ÷ 2000W. Maximum degree of protection against external influences. It works in explosive areas. Operating temperature -70°C ÷ +35°C. Supply voltage 140 ÷ 253V.
Ease of installation and operation.
Three mounting options: DIN rail, plane, pipe. Three connection methods: screw terminals, power connector, external junction box. Minimum weight and dimensions. Clear indication of operating modes.
